Reimagining Donut Delivery
Previous substandard renovations on many Dunkin’ properties added a layer of complication to a project that already had a strict timeline and budget. Construction solutions are needed to fix prior problems and complete the job while maintaining financial and schedule parameters.
D-Mar renovated all +200 stores in just eight months through expertise in developing both customized and scalable solutions.
Systematic Upgrades
As experts in building partnerships and maximizing productivity, D-Mar coordinated with the sites’ architects and managed plan submissions. Work on this project was wide-ranging and included removing and replacing all service equipment, wall finishes, and cabinetry. To bring store interiors and exteriors into ADA compliance, upgrades were made to restrooms, ramps, sidewalks, and parking areas. Energy efficiency was also a priority for Dunkin’, so the stores were equipped with energy-saving features, such as LED lighting, high-efficiency HVAC systems, a water cistern for landscape irrigation, and solar panels for power.
D-Mar’s ability to generate individualized solutions to the unique issues at each of the sites resulted in all 200+ stores being completed in just eight months, all while maintaining the fixed budget.
